Hi, I am Alanee A-Z Wright.

I am a public relations professional, motivational leader, and basketball coach, driven by a deep commitment to service, impact, and purpose. My life’s mission is to educate, empower, and inspire others by equipping them with the tools, mindset, and courage to lead, heal, and win, even when the odds are stacked against them.

From an early age, I was captivated by the power of communication to shape perception, build bridges, and drive change. That passion led me to pursue a degree in communications, where I discovered the art and strategy behind public relations. I developed a strong foundation in journalism, graphic design, and strategic storytelling skills I now use to craft authentic narratives, foster transparency, and build trust.

What excites me most about PR is its ability to elevate unheard voices, amplify social causes, and build meaningful relationships between people and the organizations that serve them. I believe in using my platform to influence public opinion responsibly and lead with intention, especially in communities that have long been underrepresented.

My passion for sports communication is rooted in my role as a basketball coach. Coaching has given me the opportunity to mentor young athletes and plant seeds of encouragement, leadership, and confidence both on and off the court. I’m passionate about helping players grow not only in their game, but in their character, vision, and belief in what’s possible. Through coaching, I’ve seen how sports can be a powerful platform for storytelling, community building, and inspiring dreams to be lived and conquered.

Alongside my professional journey, I’ve built a motivational platform that reflects the same values guiding my work in PR and coaching. My book, All In: Playing to Win When the Odds Were Against Me, and my podcast, Stacked Against Me, are rooted in lived experience. They serve as reminders that no matter your circumstances, you can rise above them playing your cards with purpose, power, and perseverance.

Whether I’m guiding a team, shaping a narrative, or sharing my story, my mission stays the same: to help people see their worth, own their voice, and lead with vision and strength.

This is more than a career. It’s a calling. I’m all in.
